I care about interfaces that feel obvious in use and hold up under maintenance. Most of my work sits between design and engineering: turning a rough idea into something concrete, then making the concrete thing fast, accessible, and boring to maintain.
What I work on
- Front-end architecture for content-heavy sites and web apps
- Design systems — the components, and the rules that keep them coherent
- Performance and accessibility as constraints, not clean-up tasks
How I work
I like small, legible codebases. Few dependencies, plain HTML where plain HTML will do, and tests on the parts that actually contain decisions. I would rather ship something narrow and solid than something broad and half-wired.
